Hi, I’m Cheyenne Parker.
I’m Cheyenne Parker, a Licensed Professional Counselor, serving the wonderful people of Arkansas! I work with clients of all ages, from children to adults, in person and via teletherapy.
Life can be really challenging, bringing difficult emotions and behaviors that can disrupt our daily lives. As your therapist, my goal is to meet you where you are and help you find the best path for growth, healing, and positive change.
I believe everyone deserves a safe, accepting space to process their unique experiences. Here, you will be heard, seen, and supported as you work towards your full potential and the specific goals you’ve set.
I’m passionate about helping individuals succeed and seeing them overcome challenges. As your therapist, I will support, challenge, and cheer for you throughout your unique journey from a compassionate place. It would be an honor to walk alongside of you on your path to healing.

My Education
& Background
My approach to therapy combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Brief Solution Focused Therapy, and Person Centered Therapy. These approaches encompass a focus on healthy coping mechanisms, emotional regulation, challenging negative thoughts, and fostering hope.
I received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Henderson State University. Upon completion of my undergraduate degree, I stayed at Henderson State University and obtained a Master of Science in Developmental Therapy. Post graduate school, for one year, I worked as Developmental Therapist with children from ages 0-3 and their parents helping them learn and reach developmental milestones. This was a rewarding experience, but I felt I wanted to do more and make a larger impact with others.
Based on my personal life experiences and a desire to help others, I chose to return to school and pursue a degree in counseling. This is when I received a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health and Marriage and Family Therapy from John Brown University.
Since the completion of my degree, I have worked in a variety of settings such as: School-Based, Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient, and Clinic based since 2019.
